Danie joined Santam as a junior underwriting clerk in 1986. He progressed through domestic underwriting, commercial underwriting and ended his tenure up as Regional Underwriting Manager Western Cape and Garden Route. In 2003 he resigned and joined Auto and General for 16 months. He accepted a position with Regent Insurance Company and worked as the Regional Manager of the Domestic and Commercial Insurance Division for five years. Danie resigned and accepted a position at BJM and worked as a broker for a year. He made the decision to progress and become an independent broker.

Through his more than 30 years in the industry Danie has placed an emphasis on commitment, ethical business practices and strong loyal relationships. His commitment to his clients and his can-do attitude ensured his longevity in the industry. He has earned the reputation as an honest and hardworking broker that cares for his clients.
